Do you want to learn how to enhance your prayer life? Learn six steps to the “Pattern of Prayer” and look at the life of prayer that Jesus lived. Learn that pray is more than you ever thought and the relationship God wants with His people is greater than you could imagine.
Pastor Sue will teach how to take time to be “holy.” The day will be a time of listening to teaching and applying the lessons to practice. In the quiet and tranquil setting of the retreat house each one will learn how to draw near to God. If you are a person who has a fear of being put on the spot to talk, have no fear for this is a time to learn and reflect with God. Sometimes it is just as hard for some to be quiet and still. Lunch will be provided.
“Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God: your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.” – Isa. 59:1, 2
“If my people who are called by my name would humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their evil ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” - 2 Chronicles 7:14

Many are invited but few are chosen. Are you yearning to know the Lord more intimately? Pastor Sue will teach Scripture truths with the aid of visuals and drama so that each one will leave understanding the importance of communion and “His Presence.” The church has allowed the enemy to convince us that communion may become a ritual if the breaking of bread is ministered too often. Is there a chance of make praying or reading the Bible a ritual if we do these forms of worship too often?
Come with open ears, open hearts, and open minds, and be prepared to look at communion in a new light. Pastor Sue believes this retreat will truly be a blessing to anyone who accepts this invitation. Lunch will be provided.
